A bit about the Nest
We had events and tournaments every week, wherein the peak we had around 50 people online. We worked every day on the Nest. As you can see based on Tebex screenshot the most active moment when we had was the end of November until the end of December. The more effort you put in the more people will pay for the entertainment.
We are selling Nest because my colleague and my self included have families, so we can’t spend that much time as we did on this. If you put your effort (like we did with tournaments, giveaways, discord games, etc.) you can make server profitable and fun for your team and players. Currently, the server is in season 2 but with both owner inactivity, it isn’t active anymore.
A bit about the server (written by our developer)
NestSkyblock is a complete setup for a surprising experience, the server is built around a custom-coded plugin called SpawnerRankupSystem (Storage via MySQL). Which lets players grind for heads that can be deposited via a command or a cauldron. When they have collected enough heads and money they can rankup to the next tier and change spawners to the next type. The shop is built so that spawners are most valuable at the highest tier. The revenue collected per mob increases ‘exponentially’ with every tier.
An other custom plugin is ShulkerBoxShop, This plugin allowes players to sell the contents of shulkerboxes to /shop. They will be prompted with a menu when they do /sbs. They can dump their boxes in there and click the confirm button. Non-Sellable items will be dropped in the first available shulkerbox so no items get lost.
NestSkyblock also contains a plugin which excludes alts from entering key-alls. Admins can do /keyall {cratename} {amount}. This plugin is only capable with GoldenCrates (which is configured in the server)
The last custom coded feature is the ability to craft higher valued blocks. The plugin is called multiplyblocks and create new crafting recipes that wil give the player blocks with a higher value which means in short that people don’t need to place so much blocks. This is configurable and it also has an crafting blacklist built in where materials can be specified which cannot be crafted.
The server, in general, is configured for zero lag and the best performance.
To conclude
Every team member had put effort and a lot of time into the server. We would like the new owner to take over our project and further carry on together with our current team.
