Isles Softworks ran a number of servers since 2015. In total, we had over 600,000 unique users, with our products developed by a team of 15 people (developers, artists, builders, and everything inbetween). Last summer, we closed up shop for a plethora of reasons, and have been sitting on approximately half a million lines of code ever since. While we have sold a couple of of products, we're here today to sell the remaining - including our biggest server, Island Clash.

What follows is a breakdown of our technology, and servers. All of it is for sale - some of the items are exclusive, and will therefore be sold to the highest bidder. The others will just be sold on a deal that we are comfortable with. Prices are generally dictated by estimated developer hours for the various items.

While a cleancut transaction is preferable, we're happy to enter into percentage deals, or payment plans (as long as the necessary safety nets for ourselves are in place).

Standards to our code:
- It's documented (inline, and javadocs)
- It's clearly laid out, and intelligently designed
- It's been tested in large, stressed production environments
- All software engineers went through a particularly rigourous hiring process (I'm sure the 100+ engineers we interviewed over the years for various positions can attest to this!)

N.B. Am aware that 'lines of code' as a measure does not say loads, but does provide a rough sense. Obviously happy to talk details privately.

Island Clash
- Exclusive Sale // Includes the Isles technology

This is the first server we opened, back in 2015, and has been played by around 400,000 users, generating a net gross of $165,433.40. It is a combination of RPG and RTS, taking inspiration from Clash of Clans and Age of Empires. We had a lot of video promotion on it over the years, here is an example: .

The sale of Island Clash would include:
- All custom plugins for Island Clash (just shy of 400,000 lines of code, discluding the base Isles technology)
- All builds, including the 400 odd schematics
- Design documents and any accompanying behind-the-scenes information
- Logo and artwork, including multiple full charactors and backgrounds
- islandclash.com domain name
- Isles technology (see below for details)
- Isles Combat (also see below)
- Most likely a couple hundred users when the server turns back on

Isles Technology
- Non-exclusive sale

These plugins - IslesCore, IslesProxy, IslesNexus were designed to be able to rapidly create diverse servers, with all the initial work already done. It covers the following features: Achievement system, Entity AI, Region system, Chat system, Combat system, Command system, Configuration system, Action and Cooldowns, Currencies, Database (incl mutex system), Drops, custom Enchantment system, custom Event system, abstract Menu system (including generic pages), Listeners, Modules, Nametag system, NPC system, system for dynamic servers, system for robust inter-network communication, Packets, Particles, generic Party system, Player, Regions, Slack integration, custom Tasks, Threadpools, Voting system, additional utilities. Totals over 65,000 lines of code.

Minigame Framework
- Non-exclusive sale

This was a framework designed for a product that never properly saw the light of day. It is an additional to the base Isles Technology (so will not work without it) - over 82,000 lines of code. The minigame framework includes the following:
- A rule-based system, allowing you to change the versions of your minigames on the fly, and without any restarts (ie no interruption to the users). This can also be automatic, allowing events to happen easily.
- A dynamic matchmaking system, that allows you to queue up with friends, or solo, and the network will slowly expand it's search for other users, with the end result that games are evenly matched (thanks to ELO), but will relax the constraints during offpeak, allowing everyone to always get into a game quickly.
- Bedwars, including 3 or so maps - also includes a card and chest system, allowing you to win chests, and unlock cards that can be equipt, giving small game bonuses. Base mechanics are also slightly unique to this version of Bedwars
- UHC, including 2 maps, and also including the aforementioned chest and card system. Base mechanics are also unique to this framework.

Combat System
- Non-exclusive sale

This was an API that was built for Island Clash originally (and is included in that sale). It is a framework for a robust, and vast custom item system, with custom event handling, logic, serialisation, saving, effects, and more. The idea with it was that someone with no technical skill could design items and monsters as unique to one another as, say, League of Legends items. This will require Isles Core to run properly, and is over 23,000 lines of code.

How to Buy

Each listing can have additional clarification if you need - just reach out to Jed#1234 on Discord, or [email protected]. I may take a day or two to get back to you during the week, but rest assured I will respond. I am also open to pretty much any deal structure - whether you only want a portion of Isles Core, or maybe want to pitch a percentage split, I'm open to chatting. Serious offers only though please, this is the culmination of thousands upon thousands of work hours.

How would we reach out to the players if it does not come with a discord server or at least buycraft login to email the old donors?
I re-purposed the Discord server, but throwing out an announcement in there will bring players. Buycraft contact information is another ballgame entirely, but on the chance that it is legal, don't see why we cannot throw that into the mix as well.

grim.

Just a quick heads up, there is a server now called “Clash of islands” and all the players from Island Clash are know playing Clash of islands.

Good luck selling!
Definitely an overstatement to be saying all the players are playing! I have been talking to the owner though, and wish him the best of luck - custom servers are great.

Thread is still definitely active!
