Hey man I understand your frustration, like I said on discord I would be willing to compensate you for the hours you lost. I will not give you more hours though sorry. You didn't lose 4+ hours you lost under 3, I apologize for you losing those I am not sure how it happened but i fixed it as soon as i figured it out. You're still up so it's not like I am trying to scam you. Regardless feel free to message me on discord to resolve this.
I understand the business model for this, however other users should be informed of the full financial analytics.
You can bid to buy the actual spot once every two weeks yourself, you don't have to buy daily advertisement for the inflated price of $250. You simply need to list your server on minecraftservers and be in the top 800 ranked servers, which should not be hard if you have a small/decent (20 - 50) player fan base and a good amount of votes. Then, you can bid for a sponsored spot. Sponsored spots, as I mentioned before, are auctioned off every two weeks. The amount of money that Diz could make if he sold a daily advertising spot for $250 for 14 days, is $3,500. Which is more than the #1 spot costs, for two weeks. In short, this is a good option if you don't have thousands to spend, but you will not be getting the most for your buck and in the long run, saving your money long term could possibly afford you TWO WEEKS of a #1 - #5 sponsored spot.
*Also, as a small disclaimer, your server needs to be in the top 800 ranked to be allowed to bid/buy a sponsored spot. Meaning that I don't know if Diz is allowed to use his sponsored spot to advertise other servers. Not sure if this is allowed by minecraftservers or what the consequence would be. I just know I wouldn't want my server getting blacklisted by minecraftservers for breaking a rule I had no idea I was breaking, if this type of advertisement is not allowed. You would have to read their rules yourself =]

I don't care enough to fix my grammatical errors they don't affect anyone or anything. I forgot how poor this forum was when posting this. It's very sad to see people waste all this money on graphics and builds for servers that they can't afford to advertise for.
