It might just be me, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that people are selling Discord Nitro and Discord boosts in the Gift Cards & Licenses page. There should probably be a separate category for Discord boosts. Whenever I go to the Gift Cards & Licenses page, I am looking for gift cards, but most of the time I see a long list of Discord Boosts or nitros services.

While I think this is a great suggestion, Mick isn't going to do this. The reason is because we now have to be the moral police, we aren't supposed to encourage this type of stuff. So until it is going to get banned it is going to be forced to be there.

Discord boosts and nitro selling should have been banned a long time ago.

Unless you're selling nitro gifts from yourself (which why would you, there's literally 0 poinit) or offering to use your account to boost, which no one selling this shit does, very few or none of these services are legitimate. You would actively be embracing exploitation of some kind in order to get this stuff for cheaper than it already is (seriously if you're desperate enough for nitro that you need to consider greyhat or blackhat services, reconsider how you're making money if at all).

The people selling boosts and nitro to you at ridiculously low prices are the same people who card or buy from wholesale people who card, or so on, are the same people who exploit currency methods on platforms like Steam to get games cheaper to you, or refunding services, or cheap-as-shit giftcards. These people are looking for a quick buck with no care for you and they'll keep on moving from platform to platform to platform for as long as there are exploitable platforms.

This isn't about moral policing. This is about discord boosts and nitro from most alternative sellers being fucking scams. The sooner you realise that the better. But if you want to make it about moral policing, that just adds to the reason to ban these sales.

And as a sidenote: Everytime someone buys boosts from a random seller, 2 days through 7 days later they're like "omg my boosts are gone, what do I do I need a REFUND". Get it through your heads. It isn't going to change. If you don't want shit like that to happen, stop promoting scummy sellers.

I agree this is the issue with boosts, but nitros can be obtained legally. The staff even force you to give them methods once you get big enough to make sure the methods you use are legit.

Since this suggestion was posted we have disallowed the sale of Nitro and boosts on MCM, so this is no longer necessary.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion
