Serious "captcha" issue

For the past two days I've been trying to write a tutorial thread (that takes time). However I keep getting "CAPTCHA" screens during the writing.

After clicking the captcha I get redirected to a JSON response page. The reason the captcha turns up is due to the automatic thread saving of xenforo. Due to the many similar POST requests cloudflare will flag it as malicious.

This is a real issue, as it is almost impossible to write something long like this...

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I would suggest writing a text in RTF format (Rich text format) and copy-pasting that in for the duration of this bug existing
seeing it contains quite a lot of uploaded images that is kinda hard :/ but ill just hold off writing it till it is fixed

Refresh, it's Cloudflare's session timing out as far as I'm aware - just make sure you copy your text first, as the draft won't have been saved for as long as you've been seeing that message.

Well I've refreshed multiple times. It keeps happening even upon saving or even when I am typing this very same post

Do you get it with any other Cloudflare-enabled website (in attack mode)?

Well MCM is the only site I've ever had serious issues with so far. It's cloudflare also blocks all CSS requests from any of my phones I've tried since 2017

Other issues usually involve trying to save threads or resource pages, .etc.... Most of the issues usually just involve following the captcha and it will be saved anyway... but in the case of the draft saving it was problematic. As for the CSS issue, it seems upon inspecting with chrome that cloudflare just sends their captcha pages when requesting the CSS files so I've stopped going to MCM on my phone

Could it be related to your region? Given that I never experience those issues on phone, laptop or computer, it could be something regarding how Cloudflare itself treats your IP. See this.

Alternatively, MCM could turn down or off 'Under Attack' mode :/

Well I live in Belgium, the issue raises at my university, house and on 4G.. Tried using chrome and firefox on a Samsung s7, OP5T, OP3T. I don't think it has to to with the cookies either as I've never logged in (seeing I can't really see it without CSS)

Google Chrome has some sort of built in proxy feature to save data. This basically causes you to connect to MCM via Google so some resources might not be loading correctly. Go into your chrome settings and disable data saving.

As for your issue in the original thread. I just suggest writing all text separately and then doing the uploads at once. Additionally, if the uploads are images, perhaps using imgur and hotlinking the images instead will do the trick?

I've tried it but it is actually impossible. As soon as I click the BBCode button to paste my post in BBCode I get the captcha again, after completing it - it just shows me a JSON that is normally meant to change the article to BBCOde without page refresh[DOUBLEPOST=1526554234][/DOUBLEPOST]I think this video shows the problem well enough for the BBCode part. Basically I get captcha's for every single AJAX request apart from the chat ajax request

Mick disable WAF within cloudflare and that will fix this issue.

I always had it disabled because it does more bad than good. Security shouldn't affect browsing experience this negatively.

Should I create a support ticket instead of this thread ? I haven't been able to edit existing threads/posts for almost a month now

It would be beneficial. Good luck getting Mick to reply to you, though. Emailing could help too.
