Okay, so I got scammed by this piece of shit ipv4 3 days ago. I immediately posted a scam report with ALL THE PROOF. All the screenshots were there, it was more than enough proof to get this fucker banned.

BUT, nobody approved the post. And its still pending approval.

Now normally it wouldn't be an issue, but this fucker scammed another member today for $90 Softweird

Sure, it's out fault that we got scammed. But in his case, it's like 90% fault of this forum moderators as well. Because if my scam report had been accepted the day I posted, the day after I posted or even two days after I posted (today), he would've seen that and wouldn't get scammed.

Seriously, you need to deal with this shit faster otherwise this will become a breeding ground for inbred scamming pieces of shit like ipv4. And I'm sure you don't want that.

In hein sight I don't know if this may be the reason to why scam reports aren't being approved but it probably because the staff on the website are buys dealing with others and yours is in the list to be approved and dealt with because only a certain amount can be dealt wit h at any one time

The scam reports tab on users' profiles was added for reasons such as this:
Screenshot 2019-10-25 at 18.19.03.jpg

If the user had checked this tab, they would've seen the scam report that was in moderation (which I assume is yours exchangerman) from Wednesday.

Knowing this would've been enough for them to decide whether they would like to deal with the user; having the report approved shouldn't have affected this decision.

I checked it, I even asked about it and he said it was the scam reports he posted and there is nothing that states that the scam report is against him.. Not even a link included.
Any scam reports which show up on the user's profile under the Scam Report tab will be against them, and only them; reports they've authored will never show up there.

Admittedly, this feature hasn't been around that long, so this information may not've gotten around to you - but if you had any doubt, you can always open a support request (or ask the community), instead of trusting the person you're dealing with.

it's like 90% fault of this forum moderators as well.
I only made a reply to this as I strongly disagree with the above comment.

There are many ways to prevent, or at least minimise the chances of being scammed, and blaming our site's moderators who put their blood, sweat and tears into their role is not the route to go down in my view.

The scam reports tab is new and hasn't been announced. Some don't know its there, some don't know whether it's against said user as Softweird said, and some just don't check profiles (just reputation). It's a step in the right direction, but the frustration of the community understandable at least and justified at best.

Of course, it's certainly justified, as this situation could've been prevented in a few ways; one of which being that their scam report could've been approved faster.

That doesn't mean it's reasonable to place the blame on the shoulders of our site's moderators, or scam resolvers in this instance.

I also understand that the Scam Reports tab or its functionality was never announced publicly - but my point still stands above. If they had any doubt, opening a support request or contacting the wider community would always be best.

Trusting the person you're about to enter into a deal with, after already being suspicious of a pending scam report against them isn't logical in my view.

Having scam "resolvers" that have no idea what they're doing isn't logical in my view.

Well..... Opening a Support Request will probably take longer than the Scam Report being approved, let's be real here Kappa

Exactly what the two members above said. We can't leave negative reputation because we don't qualify, we can't leave posts on his profile because he keeps deleting them apparently and the scam tab I literally did not know it exists until you posted that screenshot.

Sure, scams could've been prevented. But the point is, you say moderators put blood sweat and tears into doing their job. Well, maybe on other parts of the forum, but that's not the point. When it comes to scam reports, they're just not doing their job properly. You can't have pending scam reports for weeks at a time. There definitely need to be more moderators that deal scam reports ONLY!

Funny thing is, scam report against him has been posted 4 days ago (and one yesterday), we've been talking about it here for a day and the report is still pending and this fucker is still not banned and still probably trying to scam somebody else. I'm just waiting to see who's next.

I was the person who was next. I was stupid enough to fall for this. Someone needs to be done about this guy, he told me he could code me some custom plugins I requested. I paid him $15 Dollars to start. He claimed he would have it done in the next couple of days. He made false updates on how it was going until I had enough and declared to view it (my suspicions were instantly raised when his message has disappeared from my post.). He then gave me a plugin which was very sketchy, I knew it was a backdoor when I decompiled it. I told him it was a backdoor and I was not an idiot, I then used it on my test server and what a surprise.. it was!

He stated he got all of the server host hardware for his botnet. I do not believe him.. but seriously. DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM. And can these McMarket Moderators actually solve this issue? There will be yet ANOTHER person after me I can guarantee.
