Our network is in need of a capable, motivated Server Administrator to handle all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our MC servers. Do you love tackling problems head-on? Do you enjoy coming up with creative solutions to player and staff concerns? Are you constantly updating your knowledge of plugins and capabilities? If you can answer “yes” to those questions, you’ll fit in well with us.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for both staff and player issues encountered
Manage the configuration and operation of PaperMC based servers
Monitor the system daily and respond to security or usability concerns
Create and verify backups of data
Respond to and resolve help desk requests
Upgrade plugins and processes as required for enhanced user experience and security issue resolution
Administrate plugin configuration and configuration documentation
Install and test plugins to expand server’s usability and stability
Requirements:
2+ years’ experience in server administration
16+ years of age (negotiable based on experience and maturity)
Discord with working microphone and speakers.
Extensive experience with server and plugin configurations
Ability to respond to help desk requests during off hours on a limited basis
Ability to multitask. I.E. Use a keyboard and mouse while consuming massive amounts of caffeine and dealing with adolescence.
