So recently I noticed theres a lot of people offering Discord advertising but I never tried it, always relied on YouTubers/Streamers. It seems Discord prices are a lot cheaper and seem to be easier than YouTube advertising but has anyone had goodluck with it? Don't people just mute big Discord servers? Myself and all friends that I know, have muted all their Discord servers except the one or two they constantly use to prevent getting spammed with notifications, espically big ones where there are people constanly talking, wouden't that defeat the purpose of Discord Advertising? I'm always opened to different ways to advertising but I don't seem to understand how Discord advertising is a good way to advertise, anyone willing to share their experience? Thanks

I'm the same as you and I know a lot of people are too. If a discord server constantly advertises other discords, people will mute the discord, so I'd say if the discord is new then yeah it's worth it but if it's established and has done many ads before then no.
We are on the same page, I'm in few Discord servers where I muted specific channels to prevent getting spammed with @ everyone, I'm sure people do that with the channels where the managers post the ads, people don't join every server that the manager advertises and eventually they will get sick and just mute the channel or the server all together.
