Server advertising

Hello guys,
So i have a skyblock server called LuminousMc.
I am trying to get a playerbase but i can't.
3 youtubers record/are going to record on my server and my server is on 15 server lists.
I get everyday around 10-20 new players but when nobody is on the other players leave cause it isn't fun.
In the weekend when there is 1 player on in less then 30 minutes there are 7-12 people online but when theres nobody online nobody joins.
Anybody knows any others ways to advertise?

You could strengthen your advertising by making posts on many minecraft related forums (Of course if it is allowed). Also you can create new ideas, or other ways for your players to have fun so they do not get bored easily. I know some server lists (the more popular ones) let you purchase or "bid" to get the 1st-5th slot on the front cover of the server list. Its not all just about advertising, if they are getting bored because it isn't fun, then make it fun for them as well.
