Server Adviser Wanted

Hello,

I used to be really invested in this community and a friend of mine offered to help me out with creating a Minecraft server. Together we have enough funds to pull this idea together, but we don't really know what we are doing. I don't have much experience with owning and running a Minecraft server other than small ones I created for my friends and me to play on. My friend, however, owned a moderately successful server called EliteSB that was shut down years ago. We are wondering if someone who has experience in this space with how to approach it will be able to "advise" or help us. Let me know if you are interested.

We want it to be a Skyblock server

My advice to you is if your going to do Skyblock, it HAS to be unique. The gamemode is so saturated when it comes to the amount of servers that run it, it's almost impossible to do something different.

Unless you go with a vintage or "Old School" styled Skyblock server, I don't see much people gaining interest. I think the vintage stuff is pretty cool to see nowadays, and I'm sure a ton of others do to.

It sounds like you might be looking for a Manager, or Content Manager to be exact. You might have better luck posting a “Recruiting” thread in the Services board!
