Server against cancer

Hello! My name is Elliot aka Zeryz, i've had many close people passing away in cancer and one day i saw a guy that was named like @DrillingHoes (Banned for multiple accounts), and he had a idea to make a server with the focus of making money for cancer research. I thought it was a fantastic idea, i'd like to bring back this idea to the community and that we all could team up and do this!

Ideas of what the server could be based on:

Something that has with teaming to do (Working together with other players)

Custom Gamemode based on real life in Minecraft. Owning a house, shopping, working & such.

I don't know what you guys think about this but if u have any ideas or are intrested please comment on this thread.

Why lol? People can just donate money for cancer without a server ;/. Really sketchy..​

Exactly, if people want to donate, they can donate in a website, etc.. not in a server...

I think that this is a good idea but needs to be more advanced by adding the aspect the user gets Cancer when they finish the gamemode to show them how bad it really is and to donate to the cause (if they donate they get another universe so they can restart in 1 and the other continues as is

Getting cancer in minecraft isn't going to show someone how bad it is in real life lmao

I could see this working out, players get a two in one deal for donating. Obviously if a player donates, they have a strong liking for the server. They get to donate for things from the webstore to help in game and they are helping in real life. Good luck with this, seems like it could got places!

Depends on if they treat mc like real life there are some *cough *cough people who treat minecraft as real life because of the way they are treated irl and also adds the aspect to the gamemode of losing everything you worked for and helps people donate to continue playing Cx i know its nothing like cancer but i had to make it a longer sentence to seem smart but irl im a fucking dumbass

I mean, we would make a server for the people to play on and have fun, and at the same time people can donate to the server and get a good rank while the money goes to cancer research.

Eh good point, but like I said there are donation websites for cancer. If all funds are going to cancer how will you keep the server running... Its a good concept but I just can't see it through.

I kind of rushed the thread, it was just an idea i had. You get what i mean though, some kind of % would have to go to the server and such.

The basic concept seems like a good idea, but people aren't going to realize how bad cancer is, from a minecraft server.

You're better off just making a regular server and donating whatever amount you'd like.
You could of course tell your players that the money they are donating are going towards this

That would give an insight into cancer without actually affecting anyone physically, I dont like the cancer idea either, but your argument is invalid
