So I currently am using the
  • Game MC-32 - 32G i7-4790K SSD 2x240G Server
from OVH with amazing DDoS Protection, but i'm not sure if this is the best of the line I can get for the price of $79.99/Month, any hosting companies that offer better specs and great DDoS Protection let me know.

Sincerely, Futuratic

https://www.soyoustart.com/us/game-servers/ - OVH site but the 32gb / same spec is cheaper there?

They are cheaper for a number of reasons, one of them is that they both come with 250Mbps bandwidth, however the OVH ones come with 1Gbps burstable, where you can use upto 1Gbps temporarily. Which is important for someone like me, because I'm usually using a solid 20Mbps constantly, but when running backups and moving large amounts of data to my storage server, I can transfer the files far quicker, since I'm not capped at 250Mbps.

From personal experience there must be something different with there DDoS protection because I've bought stressers from small sites before and have been able to hit the re-sellers IP's (192 and the other one) fairly easy. But with OVH it's a 149.xxx IP and haven't had anyone to be able to hit them offline yet.

Terrible DDoS protection since it's a re-seller, the IP's are 192 and I can't remember the other one if i'm correct. Gets hit offline around 10-20GBPS. The real OVH site is around 200 GBPS and haven't had a single issue with them yet.

My webhosting node is with SYS, and ive hit it with ~25Gbps and nothing happened other than an email from them saying they have detected an attack, and now mitigating it. Also could you do some research before saying shit about a company, SYS are not a reseller, they are a sub company, that sells mid range servers. OVH been the high end, and Kimsufi been the low end. Also 200Gbps? It takes two mins to look on their site and see that they offer 480Gbps, if you didn't know that already.
