So i’m planning on creating a server from scratch with a budget of $400 I don’t know if that’s gonna be enough but i’ll be doing the coding all by myself so i hope i won’t be using that money to pay for commissions other than some builds if needed, i was going to start a factions server but i assume it quite dead and i highly doubt that hard work and efforts put on it will pay off, right now i’m very confused i really don’t know what gamemode i should go with and if my budget will be enough to fully get it up and running with a decent player base (100+ players maybe)

I can only tell you that if you need custom builds, do not hesitate to contact us, we can help you for really good prices (no extra percentages commissions) and very good quality.

The buildings of a server say a lot about the professionalism with which it was dealt with, whether they are builds specially made for the server or any build from the internet. https://discord.gg/aPfKVHMMEr (If you need build and help to run your server at any time)

Don't do SMP or Claims, Shits so boring. Everyone's doing that these days. Do the community a favor and do pvp related, Factions or Oldschool Faction Raiding.

The market is so saturated right now. Every server imaginable has been created. So you literally have to create something unimaginable or spend unimaginable money on marketing. You can also settle for a smaller community. 20-30 people on average but that still required a decent amount of marketing and uniquness.

Learn how to grow a YouTube channel. Then, grow a channel with content that consists of you playing other people's servers. Once you gained a substantial enough following, transfer some of those followers over your server where you can then collect server donations as a form of passive income.
