I am looking for a cheap (preferably free) forum software that isn't enjin or xenforo (xenforo too expensive 4 me)

Is there any decent one available?

I would suggest MyBB for a free software, not really to good for Minecraft but it will work.

I found myself in the same situation, Xenforo is crazy expensive, and enjin is just ugly

I went with Flarum. If you have a dedicated server, you need a few requirements. You can also make a free Flarum forum with freeflarum.com

This is a good choice, been toying with NamelessMC V2 and it definitely looks promising!

Most servers that use Xenforo haven't paid for it.
