Server Hacked/Gone

Hey, i'm the stupidest fucking idiot on planet i trusted this guy with my panel i gave him password he did configurations he added more plugins he basically did the server better, but today he actually took a copy of the server and sold it to 4 other people for $300 usd so he basically made money, ONTOP Of that he's using it as his server aswell.

LUCKILY, i have the server still but not that one he configed, i just have a server that doesn't really have too much stuff.

I was wondering if anyone can HELP me out i need someone experienced to fix some stuff for me like banknotes, crates, worldguard, warzone, ranknotes, ranks, buycraft and all that

Maybe even more it's a Factions/OpFactions server, i don't know if you charge but if you do my budget isn't really high and these are basic things, i just don't know how to run them i'm not the best developer out there.

My fans have just been wanting a server.

It would be awesome, if someone did it free it's not REALLY a big thing, you're only gonna setup a few things, but my budget isn't too big.

You do not need to be a "Developer" to do the basics of a server... If you do not know how to do simple things like that, I suggest you hop out of the server business..

Exactly... So, if it is not basic for you.. Which, all those things that need setup, are very basic, and simple to do plugins work, website work etc... Then, you should not be running a server.. It is as simple as that. No one will do all that for free either..

These are all simple things, and you can most likely find a tutorial on each on google if you're unsure, save your money .

Also to prevent this in the future, only ever give your panel to someone you 110% trust, no exceptions. I also believe on multicraft (assuming that's what you're using...?) you're able to add accounts to access your panel, and give them certain permissions. For example: Edit files, but not download - therefore preventing this.

No problem. I'm torn between agreeing with YourPanda. If you're not able to configure plugins, then maybe you shouldn't be in the server business.
However, it's taken me 6 years to get to where I am now, and even then I'm not exactly great. I spent 2-3 years paying $5/month for less than 1GB, wasting quite a bit of money. I've had my servers hacked/stolen, blown up, everything.
I suggest using this as a learning curve, I don't consider my time and money wasted from before. My mistakes meant I've learnt from them and made something better. No doubt I'll make more mistakes, possibly including huge amounts of money. Think of it as a tuition fee, it's all gathering experience.

You're welcome to contact me on MCM if you need help with anything, although I'm not able to commit huge amounts of time.
