im just looking through pebblehost and idk why. how many players and lag would i get with this setup?

● DDR4 ECC Memory
● 1GB RAM
● 250Mbps Uplink
● DDoS Protection up to 160Gb/s
● Unmetered SSD Space

well worth, it'd lag with 25+ tho. you'd also be limited on storage

It'd lag with just a setup on there, those 1gb servers are designed really for minimal plugins / vanilla minecraft with a few friends, even then loading in a too big world will cause it to lag. You'd be looking for about a 5/6gb server if you're looking to have plugins and a playerbase of 20ish and it'll be on the verge of lagging. From my experience anyway..

You'll definitely need more RAM. Factions especially takes a lot more RAM when preloading chunks.

Very minimum 8GB of RAM for Skyblock, Factions is quite a lot higher.

I recommend cloud hosting services such as Amazon Web Services, DigitalOcean, Microsoft Azure etc. although they may be a little more expensive (marginally) than 'Minecraft Hosting' websites. You will however have to have some basic sysadmin experience to set up a Linux server and the installation of the Minecraft Server. Not to mention you'll need some basic security knowledge to firewall the servers and ensure no 'offline-mode' exploits for a Bungee network etc.

Despite this being a probably less appealing route I believe it pays off in the long run to have this knowledge.
