What do you think of an RPG based clans/factions server with GTA elements in it? Vehicles, guns, drugs, etc. Seems like theres loads of public plugins that make this possible
Kinda but with factions and not in a city environment, probably would get some cool terraformed landIsn't that basically GTA Minecraft
well, modern weapons, yes, but I'm not so sure factions is a good idea. I feel it's too saturated. I mean, I'm a developer, I could make my own custom gamemode.Do you mean like medieval MMO RPG with weapons from like RWBY? Cuz that's what I got from that, and it seems dope af
Like 99% of servers have been "made" at some point, unless you code a custom gamemodeIt's called Grand Theft Minecraft, it's already been made.
I mean like anime type of weapons, not normal modern real life guns. A scythe that turns into a sniper, a bat that turns into a rocket stuff like that. I haven't seen anything like that in minecraft, and weebs would definitely play something like thatwell, modern weapons, yes, but I'm not so sure factions is a good idea. I feel it's too saturated. I'm kinda having difficulty coming up with a good idea for a server. I'm gonna consider holding a contest where I give out money to who can give me the best idea
All that stuff sounds interesting but the biggest challenge I see with starting a server is keeping it engaging. The weapons idea is cool, sure, but it's also sorta gimmicky. Clearly you have to continuously put lots of work into a server, adding new features, to get players to stay. This doesn't even consider the monetary costs of doing this.I mean like anime type of weapons, not normal modern real life guns. Its a custom gamemodes, of course its going to hit the bank a bit. Just like in most custom gamemodes you'd have to make almost everything from scratch, that's nothing new. And as for the constant new updates doesn't that stand for all servers? Every gamemode gets boring sooner or later with no updates, just as this one would. But if you wanted update ideas you could base the server on a already existing game/novel and get some freebies. All that stuff sounds interesting but the biggest challenge I see with starting a server is keeping it engaging.
