Server Logo - Thoughts?

It's a WIP (making it on Inkscape):

What do you think so far? It's for a 'tropical' themed server - any suggestions on what to add, change, or remove?

BTW I’m not going to sell logos with this style, it’s for my server

A bit too simple for my liking. I would have some more graphic art in there to spice it up. I personally prefer darker colours, but that's just me xD

Pfft I'd use it if I had a network. I like the simplicity of it. The other heavy detailed logos get a bit old to me. I like seeing something different.

You see, the logos I like are like this:

In answer to your question, I would say add fruits, or trees or something? You could also try adding something bright and contrasting which is like a treasure piece washed up on shore.

A little basic for me but I like where you are going with it. Its different and I think you need to add a little detail and depth and it'll be good
