You paid $30 for this and still need to adjust stuff yourself including making the background transparent? Wouldn't recommend ordering from that artist again if he declined to adjust that stuff him/herself. Overall look pretty decent. You can just see that it wasn't drawn. It was made using the built in Line tool almost every drawing program has. Meaning he didn't need any special gear in order to make this logo. And it's easy to make a logo using the line tool .-.Thanks. Well I bought it from Paradise, he was encouraging me to buy a logo that had a stone background and my server's name on it because he had it as a template. Apparently it was popular, but why would i want something that was popular, i want something custom! He made me it but the next morning I was feeling a bit sad about spending all that money on it so I asked him to make another, he made me this and the original price for the first logo was $40 and he wanted me to pay the remaining $8 after he made the second logo but tbh, i dont think that would be worth it and as this is already a logo revision, i don't think i could ask again for revisions like transparency.

TBH, he sounds like someone who wanted to make some quick bucks on you. The transparency revision is something really really simple. He probably uploaded the picture on imgur as a PNG, since the PNG filesize is a little bigger imgur converts it into JPEG. JPEG does not support transparent backgrounds which makes the background white. All you need to ask him is to send you a smaller version of the logo; if he does that you should have a transparent background. Paradise seems a bit suspicious though, I asked him if I could just have a refund but apparently he had already sent the money to his Dad's paypal (so he says) and so I had to have this logo made when I would have rather had my money back, I asked him why his dad couldnt just transfer the money back to him but apparently "his dad thinks he is trying to scam him", seems a bit strange. I'm also especially dissapointed as I don't have a form of income except for pocket money and it took me a while to save the money and I ws tempted to buy things from ebay and this just makes me feel like a victim of a scam
That's why I am worried and put off buying things from other members due to things like this, from now on I just think, i might as well do it myself for free and make a poor job rather than spending money and getting a poor job. I just don't know how people make so much money? I sometimes think, am I just stupid ? Sometimes i just let people take advantage of me, take the little money I have and trample all over me. Could've bought 3 premium memberships on that $30

That would be great, the problem is - after setting it as my desktop background when i thought i had done it, it seems there was still white around some parts of it (as there was a black background around the transparent areas of the image) and i think a gradient may have been used so I have been using paint.net to zoom in on the pixels and sort them out.

I know - I just wish I would be able to make money like that. Very hard for me so I have to be very careful with money although it seems some people count money by the $100 looking at some posts.
