Hello, My name is Michael.
I have been working on a couple of servers for the past couple of months and none of the servers I have been working on have had an Owner that really wanted to get anything done. It's kinda been annoying me so I thought I would look for something different that could be successful.
I'll be responsible and start with my experiences.
I like to configure plugins. Give me an outline and I will throw on some music and get whatever you want to have done, done. I very much enjoy it. what makes it hard is if the person doesn't really know what they want and they start to have me think of what THEY want. (Just thought I would throw this in at the start.)
- I'm Not The Best but, I don't really expect to be paid for this (atleast not to start with). To Start, About 3 years ago I was really into making Minecraft servers and Got Familiar with messing with Plugin configs, Even practiced on a couple servers of my Own. I have Owned 2 Factions servers, a Prison, as well as a Towny. I working my way around other gamemodes like Minigames at the moment. However, I kept Failing at servers and I felt like it was my fault (doubt it was but, makes me feel like my best isn't enough). So I was tired of that feeling so I quit the game completely. Now 3 Years later I have real Life Experience. I have some more understanding of Code from HTML classes in High School and I have a small Coding Internship At the moment (Still wouldn't like to code custom plugins).
- I was recently the Manager of a Server that had plans of being a Network. After the start it was okay cause I was a Mod so I was doing what I could with the community. A bit later I was Promoted to Admin and so on, a bit after that I was doing all the work on the server... Plugins, Staff, Advertising, Contracting, Everything... Every so often he would get a new provider and we would lose all Data and I would have to start over cause I would not be told. Two weeks before I no longer worked there, He Changed again and I didn't have console. I couldn't fix anything, so of course I told him. After I finally got console and had everything running smooth again, Someone Asks in chat to be The new Manager, So the lets the community hold a poll. He Won and I was completely booted off the Staff team... I believe I was used but, I try not to get toooo upset about it, and just hope no one does that to me again.
- Now even more recently I have been an Admin on another server and it's just not going anywhere. The two owners seem to not have any real motivation anymore, almost everything I do is undone, and with that when they offered me manager I decided to decline as it wouldn't do anything for me. The one thing that I was able to get out of this server though is the fact that when I join the server had started from nothing so, I worked 2 days straight with only sleeping for a couple of hours (maybe 4 or 5) and was able to get the server into a beta stage to where everything at least worked and you had a basic factions server. I basically proved to myself that I CAN do it.
I try to be on when I can but with having two jobs, It's usually only about 3 hours or so? But, I will definitely try my best and will work on discord community while I'm at work as much as I can!
At one of my Jobs I was a Manager of the kitchen for a little bit but needed to stop doing that, wasn't paid enough. The reason I say this is because this mainly is to show that I can work with a team rather easily.
I understand that this application is long and that it may have been rather boring but I believe it is all necessary information. One last thing, I talk on my Mic. however, with new people I try not to talk too much if not at all. This is just something I do but I try to type fast to make up for it. Usually I can keep up in a meeting or a conversation with typing.
