Server Optimization?

Hello. I was just wondering if there were any ways to increase the server performance without decreasing the amount of plugins or features (Such as mobs) that affect the server too much? I'm not being case-specific here, just wondering. Thanks.

Doing what Visur said would help on your end, but if you are still having lag problems, then a better host can also be a good solution.

Yes, I find that mcprohosting provides very good hosting. I upgraded from my 1gb mcpro server, to an 8gb ovh server, and found out that the tps had dropped dramatically, and the login delay was tripled for all my players.

That would be a Kimsufi dedi (little different to OVH ones). You have gone from an E5, down to something like an i3 so it’s obviously not going to perform as well. Mcprohosting is quite overpriced for what you actually get. Most high performance hosts at $5 a month are just as good, and half the price.

You might also want to remove the referral link, those are against the rules. A link to their home page would be fine.

It's my default page link, didn't really catch that.

It has "aff.php?aff=16377" on the end of the link, therefor it’s a referral link that you would profit from.

I use mobstacker and laggremover. I would recommend laggremover over clearlagg.
