I am looking for a developer that can optimize my server in some way.
There are approximately 55 users online and the delay begins to be noticed, I have tried several things to try to minimize it, I installed ClearLag and limited some entities per fragment, but the delay is still a big problem

The server is in paper version 1.14.4

And well, I do not understand why it is so, if it can be a problem of complements or it will be for the generation of the world.

If it were for the generation of the world that is what I suspect most, I am willing to pay for a complement that the world generates without disturbing the players, since the server is online.

The host specifications are:
RAM: 32GB
PROCESSOR: Intel i5-4590 Quad-Core 3.30 GHz

Adding an entity limit should solve your issue, most likely it's an automatic chicken farm (and with that amount combined with the uptime it might be in the spawn chunks)

ClearLagg has an option (isn't enabled with default settings) to clear mobs and animals in config.yml

Also, an i5 processor should be okay CPU wise. But the issue I have is the generation of that i5-4590 Quad-Core, It's a 4th gen. You can buy an I7 6th gen for the performance boost, and it's not much more expensive now considering the i9's and things. In todays modern world, that will work. But for that many players, being stressed out that much, It wouldn't surprise me if CPU usage is constantly 100% and being throttled, The CPU is a severe bottleneck, and the fact that you're not on DDR4 memory, also check and see if your minecraft server is on an SSD. That has alot to do with chunk load speeds.


If the host you have can't upgrade their hardware, because it's not anything to get an I7 6th generation nowadays, I would select a new host. Make sure you're in Gigabit network, SSD, I7-7th gen if possible, and DDR4.

Now, if you're running this with a server spec, I'd get ECC memory, it's not as quick but you should be able to overclock it with a speed fast enough with a Raid 0 on your SSD's and Get a Xeon Processor, (16 cores), You'd be golden with performance. I'd slap 500 people on these performance lists, and not think twice about it.
