Server Staff | Head-Admin

Hi, my name is Initials and some of you may know me from YouTube. I am looking to get a paid positon to moderate the server / make videos. Hoping to work with a network that is professional.

Some may know the server / network, MineHQ. I use to help out a lot on there and especially in their teamspeak. I still currently play on this server and record videos on it.

I use to be an admin on a server called HarlemFactions which recieved little to no players in the first few weeks of opening. I eventually started recording and the server went from 10 active players to 100 active players in the matter of 2 weeks. I then got admin and a few weeks later got demoted. The server then died back down to around 20 players and the server died out. I bring a lot to staff team as I can help out in teamspeak and in-game. I don't know much about coding or buycraft and those are my only weaknesses.

I usually am on for around 3-5 hours on weekdays due to Basketball and sometimes I am managing my mothers restaurant but will usually just get the other manager to fill for me if I am busy. I can moderate from 8-12 hours on weekends.

I would like to indeed get paid from $5-8 an hour. (Price is negotiable) I also am willing to start a admin series on my channel which would bring in some more players. I can give great ideas that can help the server expand and bring more players in.

Yeah, for not coding you most likely will not get paid. Even if you dedicate all that time, most servers can get quality admins who actually want staff for fun because they like to do it, and not like you who wants the money.

I would have to agree here. Depending on the owner and how much revenue the server actually brings in, you aren't likely to get paid.

$5-8/hr is also a little steep in my opinion.

My advice would be to eliminate the price tag altogether. Unless you're involved heavily with back-end things you aren't going to get paid much, if at all.

In any case, good luck with finding a server - and I hope you prove me wrong.

So you've never been staff on a decent server before, claim to help out on MineHQ, presuming people will skim your application and think you were staff on there?.. and expect to be payed that much? lol

Thats a bad thing? I wanted to prove my passion as to the factor of being a server manager.

It's not bad. But no one is going to read a 15 page essay that is blue lol.

Some servers will pay moderators and up, maybe not cash but a little something. Sometimes from the web store, vouchers and what not. Depends on the server and the owner of said server. Though most cases only managers, devs and so on are paid. Regular staff is for fun/volunteer work. But regardless good luck and I hope you find one of those rare servers that do pay for quality time and effort.

I know no server with a Head Admin Rank. If you mean Systems Admin, then those are ones who know languages like Java, PHP and ect and work on coding.

Sorry to break it down, but unless you code you are most likely not going to get paid.

The only things, staff get payed for, in a "normal" world, is system administration, or developing. And 5-8$ per hour? As said above, McDonalds is 7$ per hour, actually working. And you're supposed to get payed for sitting on your ass running around in a block game? BAHAHAHHAHAHAHA.
