I have a question, I have heard adding more ram to a minecraft server could make it less laggy. If this is true, please tell me. If not, can you suggest other ways to reduce lag on a server?

Heres some ways to have no lag. Have enough ram,Make sure you have every plugin configed good and have good cpu.[DOUBLEPOST=1465862520][/DOUBLEPOST]
If your plugins are outdated and poorly configed buying more ram will not help you at all.
