I'm currently looking to buy a server with a good amount of active players online.
The theme of the server doesn't really matter (although I prefer not to buy a faction server, can be a side gamemode.), the quality of builds and plugins doesn't really matter either.

My maximum budget for this is 70$ which has to include the domain.

Like I said, I don't need a good spawn or good plugins on it.
I'm a builder and I have a good developer as irl friend, so that isn't a problem for me.

Instead of saying that I have a low budget and offering me an overpriced settup, just tell me how much it would cost.

Btw a settup for 70$ is ridicilous or you don't know your business or you're overpaid.

And a hub for 70$? I make 2-3 hubs for that price.

I would appricate it if you tell me what I have to do/change specificly instead of saying that I'm doing it wrong.

With player bases it's hit and miss bud. Most servers no matter how bad with a player base go for a couple hundred though.

Okay, thanks for the tip! If anyone has a server with a good playerbase, make sure you answer to this thread. Ill try to raise my budget as much as possible!

A playerbase of 10 will most likely range from $100 - $150, usually $10 per player seems to be common, or at least from what I have noticed for smaller playerbases.

I would check the setups section of the forums, you should be able to at least get some decent files from there for $20, $40+ if you want to buy from someone perhaps more 'popular' with setups, but that person is more than likely over-charging you if you do go with someone charging that much.

I have a good developer who knows alot about pricing of plugins and I'm personaly a builder , so if they work with us, they won't be able to overprice their settup.
Anyway we're working on our budget, which will rise about 50$.

Couple of hundred lol you're funny... For me it's all about connections and talking to the right people. Getting well known Youtubers on your server is the best method of advertisement. All these top sever websites that you pay 300-400 just to get a server on a list is a waste of cash. Players stick to servers they know, Youtubers help them to know the server. Yes eventually it will cost a couple hundred but not for 10 players. Start small, pay 5k-10k Youtubers like $25-50 or so per ep. Most of the time you will be able to financially support your Youtuber back from donations.
It all takes well planning. It makes me laugh when you see these players just randomly throw in 1-2k for a server and barely plan it, over that %50 of those players have never handled/made a server.

I know a streamer who would like to stream on our server, so that's pretty usefull.

I know alot of people think my projects will never work out... I totaly don't care, I'm someone who goes for his projects and what I have to do for it doesn't matter. Making a new server, buying one... No problem I'll do everything to get my projects online.
