I need everyone's opinion:

Right now I'm at a crossroads. I'm trying to find the BEST version, and the most attractive plugins for my FACTIONS ONLY server.

What version do people enjoy playing on the most (1.7-1.8-1.9)?

What are people looking for mainly in a FACTIONS ONLY server?

What is 100% NECESSARY to have in a FACTIONS ONLY server?

Right now I have:
Custom Crates Plugin
Custom Crate Drop plugin
Custom Voucher Plugin
Custom Potions Plugin
Custom Updates Plugin
Great hosting provider (No LAG, STABLE 20 TPS)
Working on stable and unique ranks, and crate rewards.
Working on a great baseline for my server's economy (Rare Throwable C-eggs, Rare Gapples, Protection IV Unb 3 will be pretty hard to acquire, Hoppers are uncraftable etc)
I'm also going to allow players to build spawn-bases and spawn-traps to make PVP more enticing.

Factions is usually 1.8

but its time for the community to go for 1.14 or 1.15 (when it comes out)

I don't think the factions community as a whole will be moving to those versions anytime soon. 1.8 is kind of the golden standard for like GOOD faction servers.

True, I'm trying to re-create an older server I used to play on, it was so great until it was bought out and ruined.
I guess I will stick with 1.8(.8). Any suggestions regarding plugins?

Keyword is "if", it is one of the things that they are looking into and when everyone got word that they were looking into it the community freaked out.
