I’m noticing lately this website seems to be going down in quality or what’s actually sold in established servers with more cheap and only for a quick buck servers popping up. Is anything being done to perhaps correct that and bring back good quality sales?

No? Owners / staff don't care much anymore and you'd be lucky to see any of them in sb or actually posting.
The team has been hyping Xenforo 2 for quite a while now and apparently, they are going to put quite a bit of effort in marketing whenever the update releases. (They have never paid to advertise mc-market before)
