Which would cause any video he uploads now to be viewed by barely any people, due to how YouTube subscriptions works.

I have made some Livestream annoucements, and they were viewed very well. They got like 30 likes in just half an hour. That's pretty active in my opinion. Also, you wouldn't get any views if your viewers weren't interested in the MineCraftcontent, but one of my most watched videos is a ServerTrailer from UltimateNetwork, and I gave them something like 8/10 active players. Of course there joined some more people from my channel, but not everyone will stay playing on the server. I know how YouTube works, and I know my views won't be as active as a normal channel with 1.000 subscribers, but I will get a nice amount of likes, and a good amount of views :) Hopefully you know enough :)
