Gimme the warning points for this, I don’t care but I’m tired of going on every thread and seeing the same copy and pasted message everywhere. I don’t know how this can be fixed but a few ideas are: Limit the amount of times a service team can offer their services per day. Another way could be check if the message is copy and pasted because I feel like it’s in the service team bible to copy and paste the same message but something needs to be done

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

If it's the exact same message every time, report the poster for spam/redundant content and they'll be warned.

I have nothing against service teams or any individual spending their time going onto every thread and making an offer to sell their services to that member. If they're able to handle the work, good for them. However, low quality content and spam are a cancer to any forum, and copy pasting is therefore not something to be tolerated.

I agree. Half the time I get a copy & pasted message, the "sales representative" doesn't know if anyone on the team can provide what I'm asking for. I'd rather just wait until a freelancer that understands my request comes along rather than testing the dozens of service teams.

Offering a service you don't have the intent to provide is a serious offense and definitely worth reporting. They should not be making these offers if they're not even certain they can complete it or worse yet, didn't even read the thread they're posting on.

Yeah, I am really sick of these service teams. They always say they type their messages out but they are so bland and sound robotic it's so annoying to see, Service teams just keep on posting and farming commissions, Solo freelancers like myself can't even get many commissions because of these stupid service teams.

I have a quick story that also relates to the issue at hand.

I ask for a custom mod to be coded.

"Heyheyhey! We have some hIgH qUaLiTy and pRoFeSsIoNaL developers who would love to do this!

Join the discord at discord.gg/blahblahblah and type -new to create a ticket!

Keep in mind that this was my first "service team" that I decided to try. I join their discord and do the -new stuff. I get appointed with the sales representative, and he says just to wait for a short while a short he gets a freelancer.

Fast forward TWO FREAKING WEEKS.

Me - Hey, do you have a freelancer who can help me?
Sales Rep - No, we don't. Sorry.

THEY DIDN'T TELL ME ANYTHING AHEAD OF TIME.

I completely agree.

my friend managed to hook me up with a mod creator who made it for free so yay c:

On a more serious note, I agree, I wish service teams would actually put the 10 seconds worth of effort into actually reading a thread and contacting their developers to see if they have anyone that can and is willing to do the project and then post about the service instead of doing the whole run around.

like... you know... running a business CORRECTLY instead of just pushing the whole "lets get this person in our discord and give them the whole 'it'll cost you $20 for me to make you a 15 line MOTD'" bullshit

:mad::mad::mad:
