Services tab

Ok. Since this idea was declined in the past, I remade this idea (with some help from other comments from the last suggestion) and hopefully it gets accepted.

I thought about adding a new tab to the profile called "services".
In that tab, you can add links to your services.
For example, if someone has a building, and a designing shop, he can post the links to both shops in the new tab.

Why would we need that you ask?

1) If a user produces quality services and you want to see what other work they do to buy from them, its really easy to do, instead of looking up all their threads to try to find if the user provides another service.

2) If a user wants to advertise his services in his signature, he can simply put only 1 link instead of filling up his signature with too many links.

If you disagree, please state why.

I think this is something we could definitely use. Even though I technically offer only one kind of service, I still have multiple threads for multiple things (at least 1 for main terra, and 1 for warzone terra. I could add one for HCF-related terra as well). This would allow both me and others to keep track of them far more easily.

I think this is a nice idea! I'm not sure how easy/hard it would be to implement, but it seems like a handy idea. Good luck

Great Idea!
I have 4-5 Service Threads, and this would help tremendously.

Also, I find myself, going to other's profiles and then checking all their threads, just to find their service thread.
This would help a lot with that problem too.

I don't see why you wouldn't just put this information in your 'About' section of your profile, it would essentially achieve the same thing?

It would just makes things more organized, and look more professional.

I dont think I ever seen someone using the 'about' section to post his services links.
It is not clear that you can post your links there.
If you make a services tab it would make it more clearly.

It's a small area under the "information" tab. Anyone wanting information there will risk obscuring the links.
It's more effective to have a 'services' option where you show the actual threads with titles.

Mick I dont see any reason of this not being accepted.
A lot of people are going to use it as you can see.
It will just make things more organized and will help keeping signatures clean of advertisiments.

This is such a minor thing that, in reality, would only be used by a few people and quite honestly I doubt that it would be worth the cost of creating it when you can just put a link to your thread in your signature and it will be read much more.

In the past whenever I've wanted to find someone's service thread I just search their name and it's usually on the first page of results which is very easy to find.

If we do want this introduced I don't want it to be soon considering there are _much_ more important things for us to do first.
