Setups to actually be in the Setup section

Hi, So when you are selling your server, it gets really irritating when you have a ton of these premade setups in the "Established Server" section. There is a section called "Setups", so why aren't they in there?

Myabe it's my fault for thinking that these premade server setups are meant to be in there, if they are then just make a new section for them? They are spamming the "Established Servers" section.

The problem is that setups is a service section, not a premade section. So people go to the 'established server' section since in the past it was just "servers". Since staff don't really have an ideal alternative ('setups' being a service section as mentioned before), they're probably hesitant to move them even though they dont belong in established servers. So what we need first is a place that premade setups belong. I have no idea if I argued against a premade setups section in the past, but at this point I've come to see that we do need one.

Most threads selling premade setups in the "Established Servers" section are there because they existed when the section was "Servers" where actual networks/servers were sold alongside premade setups for a long time (which is why most of the threads in your images are from mid 2016). If you see a thread selling premade setups in the Established Servers section, feel free to report it and it may be moved to the correct section.

The majority that are being bumped are brand new ones.

I'll try my best to report as many as I can, but we need a long term solution for this

They do it for extra traffic, but a "Premade Setups" section would be ideal. For example, with builds this is how they worked it.

I guess making a seperate forum would work

Maybe, but with the right thread tags it could all fit inn setups

It just floods the entire forum with these posts, it gets annoying.

My thread and a few others got moved to setups, which I didn't like, but the fact that almost all the other threads get to stay in the established servers forum is not right. Either move them all or don't move any. Most of all, it would really really help if staff clarified some things since there has been no announcement regarding this or anything really. It just happened.

It's in the name "Established Servers" meaning they're setup, have artwork, hosting and the rest. Setups are just servers which aren't setup for a certain name or have artwork.

Whenever I'm looking through the section I report the threads which are setups when I see them, apart from that, this needs to be fixed

Yes and around 1-2 months ago it was called 'Servers'. And it says 'Here is where you sell your servers that are either already setup or have a playerbase'. 'Already Setup' can have a lot of meanings and people started posting their setups there, which was fine. But then people also started posting their service of setting up servers there too, which the staff then moved to 'Setups' forum. Now, they just renamed the forum to 'Established Servers' out of nowhere and are starting to move the threads.

No, because that was a service forum, and we are offering a product.

I fully support this. I try to look in Established Servers every once in a while to try and snatch a good deal on a server that has released, but the entire forum is spammed with setups.

Exactly, its that people cant read or they dont boher to.

I’ve been hunting for servers and sometimes with the titles I can’t even tell real server from annoying setup. Please create a new section or move the threads back to setups.

There was another suggestion opened about this topic that was accepted. We have added in a Premade Setups forum to the products category which I believe has fixed the issue you brought up in your thread.
