Pretty much have the ability to remove shit posts from the account and other selling sections. Or at least remove them until a moderator can review it and see if it's acceptable. Anyone abusing this power can have it revoked. Could even be added as a perk to having supreme.

This man's sick of reporting shit posts and having to make new threads due to the toxicity of selling accounts on here.

Fun fact: this is literally the least toxic site when it comes to selling accounts as far as Iknow. You think it's bad now? You weren't here when it was REALLY bad. It started getting a bit better somewhere in spring & summer 2016, before that accounts was true and pure cancer. The majority of the straight up scammers are banned, and it will take a while for them to alt and regain access.

Just to be sure, what you are suggesting is that people that 'shitpost' in an accounts thread have their privilege to post in the accounts section revoked?
Im not sure how exactly this should work, but since its for a specific section I dont interact with, I dont really think its gonna be a problem.

No. The thread creator e.g seller if He abused the privilege to remove posts which aren't actually shit posting. His privilege can be removed. I had to stop selling accounts because the threads just got trashed. I was reporting it each day. And it was getting pruned everyother day. You know how bad and damaging that it to possible sales when a thread becomes a "meme".

Also in response to "what you are suggesting is that people that 'shitpost' in an accounts thread have their privilege to post in the accounts section revoked?" That could possibly be a punishment if the user is continually trashing threads.

This is kind of a pointless suggestion and it's not much different from being able to delete posts on your own thread, which has been declined before, the only difference is that you hide them temporarily rather than permanently. If you want your thread cleaned up, report a post and wait for a moderator to clean it up as s/he sees fit.

"Reporting a post in a thread where you are the OP, causes the reported post to go into Moderation Queue", if you want to phrase it better? Or maybe "If a post gets more than 1 report, it goes directly into Moderation Queue"?

There is some good potential for cleaning up the forums, but would probably require an extra staff member since the XF Moderation Queue system is complete garbage and it takes forever to get anything done with it.
Additionally it could be abused. I.e. Keep on reporting posts ever after the report has been rejected; or groups of users targeting users by just reporting all their posts.

You can't just shit on this thread when you don't even deal in the account market. Go look for yourself. Guaranteed every thread you look at will have some form of a shit post. Whether that being shit trades from most likely ban evaders // scammers or some kid trying to waste your time to some Idiot just trying to be a dick with pointless posts.

This was pruned 3 times and it was still cancerous when I locked it. http://www.mc-market.org/threads/178972/page-2.

In response to this "report a post and wait for a moderator to clean it up as s/he sees fit." You know the wait time before anything is done? If at all? And the damages it does to the account which you are trying to sell. I wouldn't be making this suggestion if I hadn't already been reporting them, would I?.

I see how scammers could abuse it from people posting "scam acc" and such on their thread but I don't really see how shitposts really hurt a thread that much i really don't have a problem with them at all

First of all, I'm not 'shitting' on your thread, you seem to have some bias opinion. I don't go the account section because I don't have a need to; I'm disagreeing for other obvious reasons (covered by Jack above) which were brought up last time a similar post to this one was made. It really sounds like a you problem as there are other ways to make a profit off of the site and other methods to sell accounts.

You know the wait time before anything is done? If at all? And the damages it does to the account which you are trying to sell. I wouldn't be making this suggestion if I hadn't already been reporting them, would I?.
Not once have I had a problem with the wait time as I don't obsess over being online, much less over my internet fame on a block game forum being hurt. If someone is interested in your account, they'll have the common decency to ignore the spam and let you explain yourself.

A better system to this would be to let the thread owner to mark posts as spam, irellevant, shitpost etc and then the comment would be minimized to a little bar saying something like "(User)'s comment has been marked as "Spam"" by the thread owner. And is waiting to be reviewed by a Staff Member"
[VIEW REPORTED MESSAGE]
So basically, anyone can still see it until a Moderator actually deletes it. That way scammers can't remove evidence etc & if the moderator reviews it and it is not what it is reported as, the reviewed comment will not be able to be reported anymore.
And this helps with it being minimized to keep the thread looking clean aswell.

Just my 2c.

Edit: I guess you could also make it so people cannot directly quote posts marked as spam, etc to avoid more posts coming out of a unwanted post.

Although this would be a far better solution to the problem proposed, I don't see a need for it. If someone is replying to your OG thread saying that it's a Semi or something like that and you don't want it there, you can just report it. There's already a system in place to deal with this, I don't see why we need to add an entirely new system just for a forum.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
