Hello,

Shockbyte is a game server provider, launched with intentions of providing the highest quality services at the lowest possible price. We're a registered business in Australia and have been providing our services since March 2013, making us one of the longest running Minecraft hosts. Our team is comprised of experienced and dedicated, gamers and developers who've been working in the hosting industry for multiple years.

We're currently in the process of expanding our development team and are looking for experienced developers.

Here's a summary of the job description:

DESCRIPTION

As a front or back end web developer, you will maintain and extend our website as well as be involved in the creation of new web-based tools for our customers.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years experience as a web developer.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JS including best practices and conventions.
  • Experience managing source code with Git (or willingness to learn).
  • Ability to work productively and consistently reach deadlines.
  • You must submit your portfolio (you will be asked during the application process).
  • Be able to use Discord for remote communications.

HELPFUL ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience with any of: Node.js, Java.
  • Experience with React, Vue.js, AngularJS or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with mobile development.
  • Experience with DevOps.
