I don't understand the premise of this. Java 8 is completely backwards compatible with Java 7, even from a Minecraft point of view. You should be looking at the finer details of J8 vs. J7, surely.

Nope. Java 8 plugins don't work on Java 7. And Java 8 is much better.[DOUBLEPOST=1465018476][/DOUBLEPOST]I've got enough answers for now! Thanks for the people who replied!
