So for a while now about a year or so i've been wanting to get a tattoo. I have a very religious family who are against that kind of stuff so i'm debating if I should just go get one or not. It's a pretty big piece, my entire forearm so I can't hide it.

I'm an adult and I still live at home for right now. I told my parents about it before and it was pretty much not up for discussion but I was like 17 at the time. I'm probably just gonna go get it done my family will probably get over it quickly.

Well, since you still "live under their roof" (either by choice or not), you should not pick fights with them about stuff like that. I mean, unless that tattoo has a really deep meaning and it's super important to you, then you can just wait a little bit longer in order to prevent hurting your relationship with your parents. At least, that's what I am doing
