Advertisements: Contact youtubers streamers, (not anyone huge obviously) and ask if they'd be willing to try out your server, again its what we did and it worked.

Practice: I've got a full custom, exclusive practice plugin I can sell for $100.
Bunkers and Kohi SG: No idea.
You don't need fuck tons of money to start up a network... You don't need a lot of gamemodes either, start it off small then expand.

You don't need fuck tons of money to start up a network... You don't need a lot of gamemodes either, start it off small then expand.

I have solo budget for machine, ddos protection, buycraft, graphics (i get it for free) and builds (i have them really cheap).
I want to spend 500$ only for plugins, also i have solo budget for adversitement.

I don't understand why people have the urge to open 100 servers at a time.
1) if you've ever opened a server before you know how stressful it can be at times, now multiply that stress by how many ever servers you open.
2) You don't need 100% custom plugins. There are a lot of good free/premium plugins that will do exaty what you want them to do.
3) I can't stress this enough. DONT open multiple servers at once. Start with the game mode you like the most and would like to see succeed. If your player base grows then you open another server and do the same thing. That's how growth works. You may open with a lot of servers and somehow get a lot of players, but those players will leave because you won't have enough staff, or all servers could have having issues and due to lack of experience you won't know what to do, and a million other things.
4) If you're going to open a server and want to advertise, don't hire HCF related YouTubers. For some reason, these people believe that they get millions of views and charge way too much. Hire someone who likes to play minecraft and has a decent view base, they will likely do it for much less than these money hungry fucks.
Tldr; Yes, you can open a server with $500 if you're smart about it, and don't spend money on things you don't need.
