Hi,

I can’t decide if I need an iPad Pro or if I’m looking to buy one just for the sake of having one.

I use my pc everyday for gaming and usually use my mobile phone to watch some videos in bed and browse the web, don’t know if I would swap it for an iPad as it’s easy with a mobile.

I use FaceTime on my phone with family once a day.

Would I need an iPad? Anything that makes an iPad stand out and different than what my phone can do?

Nah, not really worth it if your phone basically does what it needs to.

If you really want it then I don't see why not but it won't replace your phone as your phone is just so convenient.

I have an Ipad Pro and I still prefer to use my Macbook for anything not related to work, Ipad is nice but I don't see the point of doing anything on it in bed as it's just leaning on your knees so it just feels awkward.
Ipad is nice for more functional things that you don't want to do on your PC for whatever reason. For example, drawing out plans or making spreadsheets or making notes if you find doing it by hand a lot easier. It has some nice games on the app store for it, Don't Starve and Transistor come to mind but I guess that would depend on if you like those types of games.

My Ipad literally only has art related apps on it and some social media, everything else is either more convenient on my Macbook/mobile or it is infuriating to get used to on the Ipad.

Thanks all for the responses! I do think an IPad isn’t for me at the moment. Maybe if I find some spare cash around I may grab one. A macbook would probably seem more better for me than an iPad.
Thanks again everyone :)

Only get an IPad Pro if you are gonna need it for a heavy program or the Apple Pencil. A lot of artists use the iPad Pro to draw.

As an avid Apple user, no, you really needn’t.
