Hello! I am currently looking for opinions on if I should start up a Minecraft Animation shop and if so, I would like to know what you guys would pay (if anything).

Here is my portfolio: http://greenmohawk.weebly.com/animations.html

My most recent animation is a little grainy but that's just because I didn't want to spend a few days rendering it out. On any animations made for others it wouldn't have that.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I think, that if you do enjoy animating, definitively start a shop. Large names such as Slamacow in this industry all started similarly to this, so it is just a matter of continuing. However, if you are in it for straight up money, it's hard to say because of course like most work can still be refined and fine-tuned to better quality. I also suggest also looking into the high quality render business as that is in much more demand.

Ok, i mean i just think that you shouldn't ask for peoples opinions for this. If you wanna make a shop, go ahead do it. You don't do something because people tell you to do. If you ask people if you should kill yourself and people said you should, Will you do it? Just do WHAT you want. Its your choice and not others.
I completely agree. But I am mainly asking to see if people think I should have more experience before making a shop and so that I won't over charge people. :D[DOUBLEPOST=1497774690][/DOUBLEPOST]

First off. I absolutely love animating. It's always great to take sound and add life to it.

By high quality renders I assume you mean like backgrounds and stuff?

This isn't just for the money by any means. I will mostly be doing it for experience but the money earned will go towards a better computer and improving my Youtube Channel.

Then most definitively start one! And yes, backgrounds, character models and maps especially as those forms of art are in much greater demand. I would suggest starting with a couple vouch copies to increase your portfolio and get a good rep from big names. Begin a very low cost until you notice that tasks get harder and more time consuming :).

Thanks for the feedback!

I do some renders but not many just because I am always busy with animations and videos.
