Shoutbox Bug Reports

Hello,

As the current shoutbox has some styling issues and whatnot, I decided to create a thread to report all these.

If you're having a styling issue or your personally think something looks ugly, report it here and say what theme you're using. Screenshots make things easier.

You're also free to report any other performance related issues. I'm aware that the SB makes certain devices crash but afaik it's mostly mobile devices from Apple. So I'd like as much details as I can get about that.

Keep this thread on topic. Any posts like "pls change to old sb" will be removed. (Edit: It's not funny, I'll start issuing warnings lol)

lol i'm positive my pc is better than yours and my phone is just fine.

the shoutbox lags for everyone you just don't know what i'm talking about. when there is a lot of activity on the shoutbox it stops sending the messages 1 at a time and starts sending them in bulk every like 5 seconds. the interval seems to be really bad on my phone and it is very noticeable and disruptive. on my pc it is not as bad but i do notice it and it's very annoying.

I never had this problem...

Just because you don't see us in the shoutbox 24/7 doesn't mean that we don't use it. Plus as I stated before, our purpose is to watch the shoutbox and not to chat nonstop so you know that we're there. That's why we have 7 - so there's at least one of us in there watching the chat because one person can't be in there all the time.

And then you go from being against all chat mods to liking two apparently.

You don't make good arguments and the staff have better points. Time you grew up. I can agree with nara~kavi and I actually don't use it anymore on my phone because it's pretty laggy (iPhone 6).

Yeah it was a little bit over an hour, sorry. For some reason it doesn't automatically unban so we have to do it manually.

So... I got kicked from the shoutbox, I am not making this post as an 'appeal' or a 'please let me back in'
But it says I have been kicked until 'Janurary 20th 2016 1:00 PM' Right now its 3 PM... There is something wrong with the timezones or something, as the expiring date or whatever is very off.

It lasts one hour and I have to manually lift the ban. But yeah, I don't know why it's not automatic.

At first you liked the idea of shoutbox mods, however when you aren't picked you complain. Whining at the fact that you weren't chosen as a shoutbox mod won't help your cause at all :/

If you read my comment, I wasn't complaining....
I was telling everyone about the timezone problem, or the expiry glitch.

I could really care less of my 1 HR ban... I rarely use the shoutbox, so it expired rather quickly.

Our job is to enforce the rules. We won't tolerate repeated rudeness, spam and overall immaturity.
