Allow users to pick a color that their name shows up to users using dark mode and light mode. So instead of the current color option, there would be a light mode color option and a dark mode color option. Other users that are using dark mode would see your text in the color that you chose for dark mode and vise versa. Kind of like the way black text switches to white automatically.

Or you could just pick a colour that works well for both themes, I see no reason why you can't just do that. This would require custom development and need to be updated/fixed if we update the chat addon. It seems a bit too difficult for what it's really going to achieve.

Your interest in benefitting the site is most appreciated, unfortunately this particular suggestion is not one which we see as capable of achieving that goal.
