Shoutbox Command

Okay, so, bear with me while I explain my idea:

I think we can all agree it's a bit annoying to have to write down your advertisement everytime you want to send it in Shoutbox. Instead, I propose that people should be able to set up to 5 ads by using a command such as /ad 1; /ad 2; etc. When you type it out, it will display the advertisement you have set it to display. Additionally, the command can be restricted to 20 minutes so that it can prevent the accidental use of advertising twice within the 20 minute timespan as indicated in the rules. Possibly these ads can be set in Preferences and be changed. Maybe even Supreme users get 5 while Premium users only get 3? I don't know if anyone has suggested this before, but it seems like it would save a lot of people time and limit the accidental breaking of rules when someone advertises more than once within the 20 minute period.

Let me know your opinions below. Please don't trash me, as this is just an idea.

I like the idea. I don't get to shoutbox often cause it ends up being a crappy message since I need to re-write it every time, so this would make me use the shoutbox more.

I cannot possibly with words explain how much I would appreciate it if this was added.

I'm glad to hear someone else shares my view! I think it would definitely get the shoutbox a bit more active again and help people find things to do.

This is a good idea and I don't see too many downsides.

Unfortunately there is a major caveat to this being implemented. This might require a small, but noticeable amount of effort from mick.
And he ain't about that life.

You know Mick doesn't actually do development, right? That's why we have the handsome and beautiful Jayson

I'm pretty certain he doesn't pay per development. I think it's set per a time period. Either way, Mick barely needs to do anything

Lmao of course you can, but it'd be so much better and easier for everyone just to type /ad
