Change the rule in the shoutbox rules from advertising every 20 minutes to say, keep advertisements and messages of the same nature 20 minutes apart. This freak who keeps trying to flex his parents money says he's rich every 5 minutes and it's really quite annoying. No, every 5 minutes isn't an exaggeration.

If you have a valid reason to do so, neg rep the dude. I know it's quite controversial to suggest doing so, but with the current rules it's mostly allowed, depending on the reason.

Furthermore, just press ignore on the dude. He's not worth your time or anyone else's times. He's doing it for attention and this is the sort of thing he wants.

Also, you could just mock him in pm with your friends and turn it into a joking matter. It's frankly hilarious. I know I do it.

My opinion is that we just remove people who "flex" spam posts in the shoutbox, It's not worth making a new rule for 1 person.
Or maybe you can outvote people who are spamming. eg. if 5 people vote for them to be kicked they are automatically kicked out.

I agree, Except for the general conversations, You shouldn't have to leave 20 minutes between then. I also think this might start alot of confusion.

If someone is posting content that you don't like in the shoutbox and they won't stop, you can ignore them. As long as they're not actually advertising more than 20 minutes apart they aren't breaking any rules. Just report any users who break rules and ignore the ones that you find impossible to talk to, that's why the functionality exists.
