Shoutbox shortcut messages

It would be cool if you could add shoutbox shortcuts to yourself, so lets say you wanted to save an advertising message you have, you won't need to copy and paste. You could just do like /ad1 or whatever you have it saved as.

I think this could also really be helpful for staff posting certain rules quickly.

Doesn't seem like it would be easy to implement or even worth it. The only use I can see are ads as you stated, and I'd like to keep the chat a place to chat and not focus on ad-spamming which can sometimes get annoying enough as it is.

If it was added, I could see myself using it for a lot more things than just ads.

As Doge said, the ShoutBox is not made for ads. We don't want to encourage people to spam ads. This will only help create more clutter and make it much easier for anyone to use ads. Something no-one wants.
