Hey guys, I'm the Founder of Shovl.io
I've been working on this project for the past year and it's still in it's alpha stages so I'm looking for people to try it out and give input.
It's still in the alpha stages so don't be quick to criticize but do share your suggestions on how to improve it, if you have any questions about the service just reply to this thread, if it's related to the usage, just make a support ticket.

Features:
Here are the features though I would suggest visiting the actual website as everything is covered there. https://shovl.io/ddos-protection.html

User Dashboard:

This is the user panel that you should be using if you use the Shield.

How big can you handle?
We have a large global network to mitigate DDoS attacks, the biggest DDoS attack we've mitigated so far was 54 000 requests a second but we have ten times that capacity at the moment, your average HTTP DDoS is only around 5000 r/s, here's a logstalgia rendering of the attack.

Why Shovl Shield and not Cloudflare?
That's a question we get often, the answer is simple, we're a reverse proxy service to protect you from DDoS attacks, we're not a CDN.
Cloudflare caches your website on their server to make it load quicker, sadly Shovl Shield only provides caching on the browser level for your users to reduce load.
Shovl is better than Cloudflare in a lot of cases:
SSL/HTTPS:
First of all for free users Cloudflare shares SSL certificates with up to 100 people, while Shovl Shield provides a dedicated certificate for every website that isn't shared with anyone else, this offers better security for our customers than people on Cloudflare.
DDoS Protection:
Cloudflare does not offer DDoS protection on the HTTP level for free users, if you ever get a HTTP DDoS attack your website will go down, complex DDoS protection that protects from advanced layer-7 threats requires the $200/month Business package on Cloudflare.

Shovl Shield provides the same complex DDoS protection as Cloudflares $200 plan for free,
our DDoS protection system is flawless and protects your website from all threats with a complex globally distributed network that identifies threats real time and stops them.

What are you waiting for? Get started now!

Yeah the redirect algorithm needs some touches, we're still in alpha, though your visitors will only see it once until they close their browser.

Shovl Shield does not collect any information on your visitors or usage, the only data we collect is the request number to generate statistics which are used to detect DDoS attacks and monitor who's being attacked, so unlike Cloudflare our collection is not invasive in any way, we're not looking to generate marketing data from visitors.

Also if a website is using the Premium version they can view the stats for their website real time, so in the event of a DDoS attack they can watch it as it happens and it's size.
