Side by side images in signatures

Images are better than plain text, so what if we were able to have side by side images in our signatures? I am going to use Blitzkrieg as an example. In his signature, you see this:

What if he wanted to make a signature like this and have each image directing you to a thread just by clicking it:

With the way signatures currently work, you cannot put them side by side. It goes 1 image, then under it, another image.

It's not a necessity, it's just something that would be neat in my opinion.

You just put the image links in and instead of it always going under, it would go to the side. People can have the option to press enter a few times to get it to go under. Or it could still go under, but give people the option to have it side by side by pressing backspace until it goes up.

How about Mick really super quickly implements custom bb codes (and yes, I've done it before, XenForo provides base functionality for it) that allows users to create tables (specifically styled without borders so people can add pictures in if they so choose).

For those who wouldn't have any clue how it'd work; https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp. Just create a replacement bb code with the same names for each table feature.

You can already do that, the images just have to be the right size. I used to have bunch of images in my sig of various staff members agreeing with me on stupid shit and it was like four images per line. You just need to format it right.

Regardless, it would be nicer if people had the option of explicitly formatting their image layouts.

Why make it complicated? Lol. My suggestion is so much easier and faster. Not everyone can understand coding, even with tutorials.

Open paint and put the images next to each other. It's not worth modifying the entire xenforo signature system for something like this.

It could be a serious time and resources investment that simply isn't worth it.

I didn't put in the original thread, but I am suggesting this because what if you want multiple images in 1 row and each image directs you to a thread. That's what I am suggesting.

On this forum the width of a thread for thread designers is capped at 1000 pixels.

1000 / 4 = 250px

If you cut out the extra 50px you can fit 4 images in one row of a signature if it is not long enough to make the scroll bar appear.

So make 200 x 100 images for your sig

I agree. This seems like an incredibly minor issue with formatting that isn't really a big problem. We have lots of development to be done, doing things like this doesn't particularly seem worth it at the moment.
