Side/Footer Banners

Has anyone bought a side banner or footer banner before? If so how much growth did you get?
Any feedback would be appreciated

It appears sidebanners don’t do so well...

Eh, They're also considerably cheaper than the header banner.

The sidebar banners had more views per $1, Just considerably less clicks.

Something to keep in mind is that we've controlled the header banner for the last 12 months or so, Pretty much since its release, we do rent it out to others that comes at a cost, So its harder to buy the header banner than just buying a sidebar.
