Hello, Developers of BuildByBit,

This post is to inform you about a request that I have for you. I am currently looking for many developers to fit into the team.

I am looking for at least 5 developers that are able to work together, working on different user stories that are created by our community. Our plan for the Minecraft server is something unique, something that has almost not been used before.

More than 5 developers are also welcome. All the information you will need is down below.

  • At least 2 years of experience with Spigot
  • Agile friendly
  • Understands Scrum and Sprint
  • Must have a portfolio (Can also be your GitHub page)

  • Must have made plugins before that are able to be checked
  • Expect no pay from the start
  • Must be trustworthy
  • Understands the meaning of respect
  • Is willing to improve himself as well

Okay so, part of the plan is to be able to show the developers their work. Yes, developers already have many ways to promote the programs/products they create, but I feel like they are not recognized enough. This way we work will improve that problem. Working with user stories provided by the community, our development team will make sure the user stories are finished.

We will not let you overwork, especially when you will get no money for it. This is a great chance for smaller developers to get the attention they deserve. We still protect and respect the privacy of any developer on the network. If you do not want to get promoted or you do not want the attention then it will be no problem. We can discuss many things. This will also be a fun way for you to improve your skills without that many worries.

If you have more questions for me, feel free to message me.

So basically you're trying to hire developers with two years of experience and are refusing to pay them, calling it a "way to get experience & improve your skills"? That's just a blatant lie, if the reason for not paying developers was so that they could gain more experience when just starting out you would not have a two year experience requirement.

"Refusing to pay them", "That's just a blatant lie", and "if the reason for not paying developers was so that they could gain more experience when just starting out you would not have a two year experience requirement."

Mhm, two things. One, I do pay my Developers. If you read the sentence; Expect no pay from the start. The reason I do not pay the developers from the first moment is that a lot of Developers can scam this process. Two years of experience with coding is still considered Junior in my eyes or maybe Developer, but it is nowhere near Senior level. The entire server has to be set up by the team. I would not hire any developers without an NDA or contract. There is also another issue that we are currently facing and that is financial. Every Developer that I have worked with in the past understood that all the money has to be focused on the server before we release it.

Second, Please do not say that I am lying, or that I am bluffing, or anything. You have never contacted me. You have never even talked to me and you are out here making false statements. Can you not do that? I would appreciate it if you could do your research first before contacting me or replying to a post I made.

The two years of experience are because this project is not easy. The project is without a doubt more than just a Minecraft server that wants to create an income flow.

The way Silent Network work is that it is very community-based. The community is the one that creates the user stories for our team. The PL (Project Leader) will filter those user stories and bring them to the development team. The Development team has to be organized, efficient, and trustworthy since we are based on our community. This project is not just about a Minecraft server. I am creating courses, training, etc. that every staff member on my server can use in the real world. In the real business world. With real, verified techniques to accomplish that.

I do not want my staff team to dedicate their time to a Minecraft server without acquiring knowledge about a certain sector. Minecraft is a video game, for most people a video game does not accomplish what they want in real life, but this project changes that for them. This project will teach and learn them the techniques used in the real world.
