SilkSpawners Spawnegg Bugg

Hello. I got this annoying bugg from SilkSpawners when trying to place a creeper egg on a mobspawner, it automatically changes the mobspawner. Is there any way to fix this?

It is because you are OPed. Whenever you place a monster egg on a spawner it changes it if you are oped.

No, it isn't. I figured out how people aren't able to change the spawner now, but they can't place a creeper egg on it. Probably cause of the event that's happening. I've seen more people having this problem but can't find a solution.
