Thread Designs are not hard lol. They aren't worth alot imo unless if it's pwign quality even then its 5 dollars at most.

It's not hard to make a bad one but it's certainly hard to be creative and come up with something new and not to copy other designers.

I have to agree with Brice, making it isn't difficult when you have an idea about what you want it to look like. Without an idea, you aren't gonna get anything done.

As Brice said, a good quality thread design may not be hard to make, but it took the designers years of experience to get to the stage where it's not hard to make. You're paying for that aswell as the actual product.

Oh.. so why aren't there a ton of pwign quality services being offered for $5? Maybe because people value their time and effort? I guess your desire to pay $5 for a design explains your profile picture though.

No one could pay me $1 to skid one of pwign's designs...
I would never copy another artist's work for any amount of money, especially not for a measly dollar. It's not worth ruining a friendship or my reputation.
And even besides that, it's not worth my time. It's not worth it to spend 10-20 minutes throwing together a thread design for $1.

When you buy any kind of design, you're not only paying for the expertise and creativity it takes to come up with it, but the time it takes to assemble it as well.
Even if you think less "effort" has to be put into it, there's still the factor of time, and you still have to pay for time.
