Ever since the site came back up, I have been experiencing a LOT of lag while typing or scrolling through stuff on this site. Chrome doesn't do this for any other site that I'm on. I already tested this with the normal tasks I have opened in the background and just Chrome alone, and there was no difference at all, it still lagged.

My RAM, VRAM, and CPU usage are all normal and Chrome isn't using up a lot of resources, so idk what is up. It's probably the site itself.

Not sure if this is just me or some other users are having this issue. Wanted to point it out just in case.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Ok.

Does anyone know a workaround to this if this is the case? Would like to know as it's only happening on this site.

BTW I have tried clearing everything on Chrome, and even tried uninstalling and installing it again, and still the same results.

I've noticed the same problem. One thing I noticed is that my ram usage for Chrome was almost 500 MB for just 1 tab (MC-Market) as well as higher than average CPU usage. I'm not a developer but that is more than usual.

I've noticed a small issue with lag (like a slower response time). Like while typing this reply, the characters are added more slowly then they used to be.

I’ve been practically unable to use the shoutbox without going on my school iPad to post at this point since the homepage for MCM makes scrolling and overall use almost impractical. And with this in mind, I don’t have a bad PC, it’s a good one too. By all means it should be able to power through this, yet it doesn’t :/

it seems it's only happening to chrome users, I'm on firefox as well and I don't have any problem either.
I replicated my Chrome setup on Firefox (in terms of extensions and bookmarks etc.) and I can confirm that it's not laggy on Firefox whatsoever.

For me, this was an issue, but has since been resolved randomly.

Has everyone else noticed that this issue has been fixed? Just post a rating if so.

This was a known bug but has since been fixed. Thanks, I'll move this to the bug reports archive.
